ruleof3 is the company’s framework for general environmental and industrial research. It is intended for institutional research teams, including those at pension funds, insurance companies and family offices.

Engagements provide sourced thematic memoranda, educational briefings or periodic industry intelligence. The question, scope, deliverables, source base and timetable are agreed for each assignment. Industrial and technology consulting covers manufacturing, procurement, operating economics and commercial development.

The services promoted on this website are limited to general environmental and industrial research, factual business and technology analysis, educational briefings, and industrial consulting.

They do not include personalised investment recommendations; advice on the merits of buying, selling or holding particular securities; client-holdings reviews; security selection or model portfolios; portfolio allocation; arranging or executing securities transactions; custody; or discretionary asset management.

Information on this website is general and does not take account of a visitor’s financial circumstances or objectives. Historical professional roles describe the founder’s experience, rather than extend the services offered here.

Responsibility and evidence

The founder leads the research and consulting assignments. Published research distinguishes documentary facts, analysis and assumptions, and identifies information dates and sources. Unresolved questions and the limits of the analysis are stated alongside the findings.

Tantallon Tech and Sustainability Fund

Non-Executive Director & Adviser since 2018. This is Michele Bina’s personal board and advisory role.

AGC Carbon Inc.

Co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer since 2024. This is an entrepreneurial and operating role in an early-stage carbon-conversion company.
